We're near a gentle green space with a playground and little traffic.

The owners have a five year old and would love to have more children around!

Note: the example photo is from a program to provide playgrounds where needed.

Our hotel loves Pai: for us that means providing filtered water, recycling and composting on site.

Lots of family meals are cooked in our kitchen! We love when families meet up here, share meals! Your kids will love our pancake griddle!

The rooms have a variety of desks and tables. The upstairs above the lobby has a big table and a wide ranging nearly 360 degree view. A good place to get away and get some work done. Register ahead and ask for a room with a desk, and/or an outdoor desk. Room 12 is good for nerds, the desk big enough for three small screens and a desk on the porch twice.

Small pool is wonderful in the heat.

We've got desks in every room. Plus our outdoor, covered tables near the front of the hotel have power outlets.

Little kitchen with fridge. We're near a great market, buy fruit, bring it home.

Yoga is one block away towards the beach!  We'll set up a sign-up sheet.

There is one single room on the first floor that would be fine for pets.

Stephen is making this up for demo purposes and to invite hotel: We gently organize morning dog walks where you can meet other guests exploring Portland with their pooches. The pet relief grassy area is at the hotel, but a real walk along the river is just one block away. We have a web form here and on our website if you want to host a dog adventure and see if other guests show up: to the waterfront one block away, to Forest Park, or elsewhere.

There is a cleaning fee.  Check out our Pineapple Pup Package for savings!

Sorry, cats are not permitted.

Loaner bicycles — with helmets! Portland is a wonderful place to bicycle. The Tom McCall Waterfront Park is right across from our hotel, a great place for a joy ride. Take it on a loop across a bridge, along the other bank, return on another bridge. Experienced riders can use bikes for transportation along bike lanes in the city, or take the park and bridges to the gentler city riding on the east side.

Our hotel has a parking lot, with 2 stairs to the lobby and a stable handrail.

We have first floor rooms with no additional stairs. Not wheelchair accessible, but modern construction and no steps other than the front ones.

Rooms have a refrigerator, cutting board and knife, and a simple double burner.

Our hotel is not on a main road, and we enforce quiet hours from 10am-8am. We do our best to attract adult travelers, not party kids. Room have good curtains — almost black out curtains.
