We're not just dog friendly, we're dog obsessed. We are the spot for

  • there is a grassy pet relief area on the property.
  • A special Staypineapple dog bed for use during your stay
  • Leave your dog in your room while you explore. We have a door hanger so staff know not to enter.
  • Staypineapple treat tin; we like to think of it as afternoon delights for your dog
  • A collapsible water bowl that's yours to keep
  • Walk-friendly waste bags in a yellow holder to show your Pineapple pride for many walks to come.

Let the front desk know you need a pet-friendly room.

Stephen is making this up for demo purposes and to invite hotel: We gently organize morning dog walks where you can meet other guests exploring Portland with their pooches. The pet relief grassy area is at the hotel, but a real walk along the river is just one block away. We have a web form here and on our website if you want to host a dog adventure and see if other guests show up: to the waterfront one block away, to Forest Park, or elsewhere.

There is a cleaning fee.  Check out our Pineapple Pup Package for savings!

Loaner bicycles — with helmets! Portland is a wonderful place to bicycle. The Tom McCall Waterfront Park is right across from our hotel, a great place for a joy ride. Take it on a loop across a bridge, along the other bank, return on another bridge. Experienced riders can use bikes for transportation along bike lanes in the city, or take the park and bridges to the gentler city riding on the east side.

Portland is a city that is a little wacky, and Hotel Rose fits right in with its wildly colorful interiors and sleek yet stylish rooms and suites. Located directly across from Tom McCall Waterfront Park on the sparkling Willamette River, this award-winning hotel spoils guests with easy access to nearby shopping, dining, and outdoor recreation. And let's not forget the many things that "Keep Portland Weird," like doughnut shops that serve as wedding venues, provocative murals, and iconic food cart gatherings.
