Attendees' Role in Greening Your Meetings

How can technology allow your attendees to take a greater role in the greening process at your meeting?
Today, greening is more and more about empirical measures of carbon footprints, provided much the same as we provide any other service. Before it became popular, greening was often interpreted to include community building. Broad participation and strong communities were seen as fundamental to building a greener, less destructive society.

Much of green meetings is about the planner: provide dishes instead of disposables, set up recycling. But technology is a great way to invite people into the greening process. And as they participate, we can explore ways to build a sense of purpose and community into our meetings.
